SDG&E Outage

On Wednesday, June 5, SDG&E crews will upgrade several power poles around the Borrego Springs community. To accommodate the work, customers will experience a momentary outage (less than 15 minutes) at 3 a.m. June 5 and again on June 6 as crews will need to transfer customers to and from a different circuit. During this work, the community will be supported by the Imperial Irrigation District and not the microgrid.
“We understand these momentary outages can be disruptive and appreciate your patience while we conduct this important work to build a more resilient electric system,” SDG&E said in a statement.
