Tying the Knot, 35 Years Later

Mike Rogers and Renate Nishio finally wed in Las Vegas, after 35 years being engaged.
After 35 years of being engaged, it was finally time to say "I Do" for two well-known Borregans.
Renate Nishio, Borrego's only Holistic Health Practitioner, and Mike Rogers Borrego's very own Tennis pro, tied the knot in Las Vegas on May 7th.
It was extra special, as it was Renate's birthday and it was her present to Mike, who had been waiting 35 years for her to finally say "OK, let's do this!" And Mike's patience surely paid off.
The duo wed at the Lucky Chapel, conveniently located around their favorite hotel, the historic Plaza at Fremont Street, the best place to celebrate a long due commitment.
For their honeymoon, they spent it on their yacht in San Diego and enjoyed their time in Borrego Springs, where they've lived for almost 30 years and don't plan on leaving any time soon.
