If you don’t know by now then what can we tell you except be on alert for a Warner Brothers big budget movie being filmed in and around Borrego Springs. The Chamber has been working with the production company for the last few months providing information, local contacts, helping to inform the community about road closures and basically anything they need. They are very impressed with the area and the friendliness of the community, so keep smiling and remember you never know who might walk through your businesses doors!
It’s a wrap on the Chamber Certified Farmers Market for the 23 – 24 season. After battling uncertain weather the entire time, I’m happy to say it was our best season ever with over 30 vendors. However, we are all ready for a break. The vendors tell me that Borrego Springs continues to be their favorite market and one of their best in community response. Thank you.
My focus now shifts to the new 24 – 25 visitors guide, Borrego Days and other Chamber matters. My door is always open if you want to share an opinion, kind words, suggestions or whatever. I will respond however need be because it’s important that everyone who talks to me walks away with an answer. It’s not always what someone wants to hear, but then again once the rumor mill gets started I’m told things that are so far off base about the Chambers involvement in something that I actually become speechless. Don’t worry, that doesn’t last long!
