Up & Down California

On Monday, Dec. 11, the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park Botany Society presents Up & Down California: Botanic highlights from two nomadic naturalists. Chloe and Trevor Van Loon will present a free talk at the UCI Reserve Room 401, which will describe their fascinating excursions around the state to photograph the wide diversity of life from the coast to the mountains and the desert. Their interests include searching for rare plants, tidepooling, nature journaling, and documenting any insects/fungi/wildlife along the way. Talk starts at 10 a.m.
