SDG&E Outage

On Feb. 5 from approximately 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., SDG&E will use the Borrego Springs microgrid to power the Borrego Springs community while they perform maintenance work on the transmission system.
Power outages are not expected, but if there is an interruption of service, SDG&E will work to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
To help avoid service interruptions, SDG&E encourages energy conservation during the scheduled work to ensure the microgrid can sustain the community’s energy needs.
SDG&E thanks the community for their patience and understanding as they perform work to improve the power grid.
