Watch for lights at Desert Shores Park.
Imperial County has given $30,000 to the Salton Community Services District with the express purpose of repairing the existing lights at Desert Shores Park. Finlay has been awarded the contract to repair the lights, permits are being obtained and work is to begin soon. YAY!
Ample opportunity remains for West Shores residents to get involved with planning, clean-up, refurbishing, etc. When Desert Shores Park is complete, work will begin on the restoration of Salton City Park. F-A-N-tastic! Thanks to all who have contributed and continue to support this important effort.
