Local Borregan Michael Rue has offered his assistance of services to factory reset and clear any phones donated for a good cause.

Rue posted on the Borrego Springs 92004 Facebook page, seeking phones not being used that could possibly be donated to the family who lost their home on May 22.

John and Pam Sherrill lost their home in a tragic fire that occurred yesterday, and only managed to get out with the clothes on their backs. Inside the home included not just their cell phones, but many irreplaceable belongings and memories.

With his posting, Borregans flocked to donate any of their unused phones for a factory reset that can be donated to John and Pam. What a community we have!
