Friday, June 10, incoming Freshmen at WSHS welcomed the incoming Seventh Grade students from SeaView Elementary School by escorting them from SeaView to the high school.

Imperial Valley Sheriff’s Deputies and West Shores Lions Club members served as traffic controllers and erstwhile guides as the older students walked from the high school to Sea View, picked up the incoming students and together walked back to the high school.

Intramural soccer games, food, beverages and many information booths were available for all participants. The day was planned and directed by Principal Pimentel, with cooperation and/or sponsorship from Dr. Tim Steele, Principal at SeaView, the Mexican Consulate, the County of Imperial, the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office and the Salton City Fire Department.
