To assist customers with their preparations for the upcoming busy holiday shopping and shipping season, the U.S. Postal Service is providing 2024 holiday shipping and mailing deadlines. The information below covers domestic, international and military shipping destinations to allow for the timely delivery of cards, letters and packages by Dec. 25. The earlier you send, the better: Don’t delay, mail and ship today!

Holiday Surcharges

The Postal Service has a temporary price change for some package services for the 2024 peak holiday season to help cover extra handling costs. The planned peak-season pricing, which was approved by the governors of the Postal Servife on August 8, would affect prices on the following commerical and retail domestic competitive parcels: Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail and USPS Ground Advantage. No other products or services will be affected.
