Kimberly Jones, a Borrego Springs resident and main wine supplier to Borrego, held a wine tasting for her company at Lomas Santa Fe Country Club May 14. The previous day, Jones had another wine tasting in Los Angeles.
Present were 60 wine makers that she represents, plus at least 300 tasters. It was a who's-who of restaurant and hotel owners from the San Diego area. Several of her clients came from Borrego Springs, including Jeremy Manley from Rams Hill and Jeremy's on the Hill in Julian.
A food table of hams, salamis, and various meats, alongside a selection of cheeses, were there for visitors to feast on whilst sampling the wine.
A great time was had by one and all.
