The Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is not affected by the Trump government shut down. As a state park, everything is currently running perfectly with no closures or staff layoffs. Many national parks are still operating, however, are under a “soft” closure, battling the logistics around the limitations of a partial shutdown. It is unclear how long the government shutdown will last.
