Volunteer at the Library

Last updated 1/31/2018 at 9:36am

Volunteering at the library is more than shelving books these days… we welcome reading and writing group leaders, craft class teachers and extra hands to make our events memorable. Right now we are looking for:

• a person familiar with robotics, to take our lovely robotic equipment and design classes for beginning robotics students

• a teacher for the 3D printer class…to show both adults and kids what’s possible

• a discussion leader for a “Desert Stories and S. California History” book club

• a group leader for “Crime and Mystery Books featuring San Diego and Imperial County”

• a jewelry designer, to help young people craft original jewelry for our next Halloween and Day of the Dead Event (we have supplies)

• writing and poetry group leaders

• Teachers to develop classes and special programs of interest to our snowbirds AND our year-round community

Call Linda Stanley at 708-609-7216 to discuss your ideas and to plan more “Borrego Events” at the library.
