A MegaMillions lottery ticket worth nearly $1.3 million sold at the Julian Market & Deli sold a MegaMillions ticket has been claimed.
The winner's identity has yet to be revealed.
The winning ticket was sold at Julian Market and Deli and matched five of the winning numbers – but not the Mega number -- and is worth nearly $1.3 million.
"We've been here for 25 years and we've never had any jackpot over a million dollars, we've had a couple for a thousand or two but never got one for five out of six or six out of six, it's kind of exciting a million dollar winner," Keith Soria who owns the store, said.
Friday's winning numbers were 1, 20, 30, 33, 42 and the Mega number 16. The Mega number was not on the Julian ticket. No one managed to match all six of the winning numbers.
Lottery officials say this is just the second time the Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots are above the $300 million mark at the same time.
At 1-in-88 quadrillion, the odds of winning both jackpots are not in your favor.
This is not the first time Julian had a major lottery winner. Back in 2014, Pat Clark won $5 million with a scratch-off lottery ticket purchased at Rancho Petroleum.
