Library Construction on Schedule

It's one of those major milestones for construction projects large and small – foundations. In the case of our new library complex – a large project to be sure – we've reached the first big milestone.
The 50-foot deep steel-reinforced concrete pilings (called friction pilings because there's no bedrock to sink into, only clay-sand) are now completed - on schedule!
Also, rough grading for the new sheriff's station and park are nearing completion. The next milestone, according to BN Builders site superintendent John Scheuer, is already underway – the reinforced concrete floor of the library, expected to be completed, soon.
It was nice to see the entire site remarkably clean as a whistle – no clutter or debris – making for safe working conditions. We will be reporting on construction milestones reached as they occur.
Of course, you can always drive by and take a look for yourself and check out how things are shaping up going forward.
