Driver Fails To Yield, T-Bones Another Car

Monday Dec. 11 at around 11:52 a.m., units responded to an accident at Borrego Springs Road and Big Horn Road.
According to reports, the driver of one vehicle failed to yield, and hit another car, who turned to its side.
The names and how many passengers involved have not yet been released.
Air units were requested. It is unclear how many were transported to Palomar Hospital. Tow was also requested, and arrived at 12:15 p.m., as the roads in both directions remained closed and directed to turn around. The scene was cleared at around 1:30 p.m.
