Santa Ysabel Art Gallery Features Adele Earnshaw

Take a break and visit some colorful and expressive paintings at the Santa Ysabel Art Gallery Oct. 14 through Nov. 12.

Wide Spot In The Road is a one person exhibit featuring the landscape paintings of internationally known artist Adele Earnshaw, who has been a professional artist for 35 years.

Earnshaw has paintings featured in galleries around the United States, Paris, and Taipei. She first earned national recognition in the wildlife art field for her detailed watercolor paintings of birds with quilts. She began the landscape more than a dozen years ago, and has since made a turn toward landscape, impressionism and oil painting.

Earnshaw has taught painting workshops in New Zealand, Italy, and France, as well as the United States.

The opening reception will be Saturday Oct. 14 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Admission is free.

The art gallery is located at 30352 Highway 78 at Highway 79 in Santa Ysabel. Gallery hours are Thursday through Monday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and by appointment. The gallery is closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
