It will be a great and fun filled weekend Saturday Sept. 23 and Sunday Sept. 24, as everyone is welcome to the Julian Apple Days Festival at the Menghini Winery, located at 1150 Julian Orchards Dr.

As part of Julian's Apple Days Celebration, the two-day Apple Days Festival will feature music and dancing, an antique tractor display, children's games and activities, gold panning demonstrations, a beer and wine garden, food and merchandise vendors, contests, and apple pie.

The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

The first 250 people through the gate (paid admission only) each day receive a FREE pie server.

A falconry demonstration has been added to the festival and Cisco Clibourne is a master falconer who will perform a falconry demonstration. It is a very interactive demonstration that will include a display of all our birds of prey, an educational discussion of these amazing birds of prey, pictures, handling a hawk/falcon wearing a falconry glove, and a flight demonstration with our peregrine falcon.

There will be an ATM app at the event to disburse cash. However, it is recommended to bring cash to the event. Some vendors will accept cards.
