Current Leader in 24 hr race Christoph Strasse

With the last two and a half hours left to go before the first racer crosses the finish line, the 24 hour leader board is currently headed by Austrian racer Christoph Strasse.

Having covered 486 miles so far he is looking to chase down the current record holder and cover over 525 miles before the 6.00p.m. finish.

Number 318 is womens solo rider Dede Griesbauer from America, who is leading the 12 hour competitors and has covered 180 miles so far.

Current leader of the 6 hour race is British rider Andy Jackson who has covered a staggering 90 miles so far, ahead of Canadian rider James McNaughton, currently on 72 miles.

2nd place rider in the 24 hour section, Jason Perez

American, Andre Kajilich, the only competitor racing on a handcycle is currently in 48th place out of the seventy 24 hour competitors, having so far covered an impressive 288 miles at this point.

The lead recumbent rider is number 156, America's Jason Perez, currently in third place in the 24 hour riders with 450 miles. James Parker another American rider is currently the lead recumbent rider in the 6 hour racers, sat at 6th place with 72 miles under his belt so far.

In the 12 hour race, another recumbent rider is in second place, with American Kevin Gambill on board. Red's Racing is in an impressive 17th place in the 12 hour race as a mixed team, they are number 309.

It won't be long now before they do their final sprint lap.
