Flood Warning

The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a flood warning

Doppler radar indicated steady rain moving across the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains and into the Coachella Valley.

The rain is moderate to heavy at times. This will likely cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area. Periods of rain will continue through 6 PM and the advisory has been extended. Rainfall of 0.75 to 1.25 inches has occurred over the mountains and 0.25 to 0.75 inches across the desert floor and foothills. Waterflow in dry creeks and washes is expected.

Additional rainfall of 0.10 to 0.30 inches for the Coachella and Borrego valleys and up to 0.50

inches in the mountains is expected through 6 PM.
