Borrego Round-Up

The rains across the valley have been a welcome relief. Which is good, as todays forecast is predicting a 30% chance of rain with some clouds and possibly an isolated thunderstorm this afternoon. The temperature could see highs of 78F with 10 to 15 mph winds.

Despite it being the end of the season for a lot of activities, there is still a lot going on in the area.

Fri. May 6 saw the last ArtWalk of the season and Google training by Louis Nava was a great success with free pizza thrown in.

Today is the day for Cinco de Mayo celebrations at the Borrego Springs library. Come down and do crafts with Betsy, Elaine and Sonja or pick up a free childrens book courtesy of Borrego Springs Library. Come get political questions answered by Bob and Laara or pick up a tasty treat. Lots more happening and Yolandi Jooste will be there for Twitter.

If you are looking for something more active, then the RAAM SoCal race will be coming through Borrego on their 400 mile journey before heading out to Salton City.

Julian Wildflower 'Smartie Plants' Show is on until May. 8.

If you know of something we have missed which is coming up soon, then please let us know at Borrego Sun Online via email or Facebook.
