Coachella Festival - Stabbing

Police broke up a fight which saw two men stabbed and another beaten following a verbal argument in the security check-in area for the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. Staff assigned to security detail, according to police who attended the Empire Polo Grounds, the venue where the Coachella festival was during its final day found two men who had been stabbed and one with minor injuries to his head and face.

The two stabbing victims were taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries. One man "received stab wounds to his extremities and was treated without being admitted," according to Indio Sgt. Daniel Marshall. The other man was stabbed in the abdomen and remains hospitalized in good condition. The man who was beaten was also taken to a hospital but was later released following treatment.

Police interviewed several people who witnessed the fight, but no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing and no names have been released.
