Super Bowl 50 Roundup and Trivia

Last updated 2/8/2016 at 2:32pm

This year the game, which saw the Denver Broncos win a defensive battle over the Carolina Panthers 24-10, averaged 111.9 million TV viewers. The Super Bowl in 2014 had the second largest viewership with an average audience of 112.2 million.

The beginning of the game was fairly uneventful and slow but the half time really helped to spice things up. The commercials were also exciting, interesting, and strange. The Dorito commercials, Audi and car commercials, Mountain Dew's "puppymonkeybaby" juice/caffeine drink commercial were all entertaining to watch.

The half time show that starred Coldplay, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars was performed perfectly like it had been rehearsed hundreds of times. These dancers were incredibly talented. Half time was when the peak audience of this year's game came in from 8:30 to 9:00 p.m. ET when an average of 115.5 million people tuned in.

Some super bowl watchers such as Donald Trump tweeted that the Super Bowl 50 was "very boring". However, this was probably not the case if you were a Broncos or Panthers fan or at a Superbowl party with fun people and great food.
