Salton Sea - Odor Advisory

The South Coast Air Quality Management District has issued an odor advisory Sunday evening for the Coachella Valley due to elevated levels of gas. Sunday evening, hourly average concentrations of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) reached 41 parts per billion downwind of the Salton Sea – at a monitor close to the shore.

This advisory is in effect, January 24 & 25, 2016, and will expire at midnight January 25.
