Borrego Springs - Full Moon

Borrego will be lit up tonight by the Full Wolf Moon. The story states that hungry wolf packs would howl outside of native American camps.

The January 2016 full moon counts the second full moon after the December solstice. In North America, this full moon is also called the Snow Moon or Hunger Moon.

A bright first Moon promises rain and a bountiful harvest; a red-tinted Moon means a dry year.

A growing Moon and a flowing tide are lucky times to marry.

A halo around the Moon predicts wet or stormy weather.
