Caltrans Pitches In During 31st Annual Coastal Cleanup Day

Last updated 10/1/2015 at 2:29pm

Caltrans participated in the 31st Annual Coastal Cleanup Day that took place at nearly 900 sites in 54 counties across the state.  In this video, you will see Caltrans employees and their families pick up debris as part of Caltrans’ commitment to protect the coast, ocean, marine wildlife and ecosystems.  In preparation for the rainfall expected in Southern California with El Nino this year, removing trash reduces the opportunity for exposed debris to wash out to the ocean.
