The Julian Bluegrass Festival was originally a banjo-fiddle competition but now offers listeners a variety of Americana, western ballads, and folk, in addition to bluegrass music. Julian's 46th year of celebrating the end of summer with music benefits the California Wolf Center. Bring your lawn chairs and spend the day with family and friends for a good cause on September 19 at 1:00 p.m. The Festival takes place at the Menghini Winery. Adults get in for $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. Children under 16 get in free with paid adult.
