Nov. 25 through Jan. 7, there will be the Autumn exhibit, a one-person show that will feature the work of iconic San Diego County artist James Hubbell. On exhibit will be Hubbell's paintings, current assemblage and sculpture pieces, and stained glass. The paintings are plein air watercolors from Hubbell's past, that document his many hiking and camping trips into the Sierra Nevada.

Opening reception for James Hubbell's Autumn is Saturday Nov. 25 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Santa Ysabel Art Gallery. The public is invited and there is no admission fee.

Hubbell is a major figure in the art and architecture world. He is a poet, sculptor, painter, stained glass artist, visionary designer and builder, and has created many large pieces of public art in the United States and abroad.

The gallery hours are from Thursday through Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and are closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
