Extreme Heat Warnings Continue

Temperatures are expected to soar to between 111 and 116 degrees today and Thursday.

A National Weather Service heat advisory for the deserts is set to remain in effect from 10 a.m. today until 8 p.m. Thursday.

According to the weather service. "Temperatures will be 5 to 10 degrees above normal in the high deserts, Coachella Valley and Anza-Borrego Desert, and could promote heat illness to those unprepared or those most at risk."
