It wouldn’t be a parade without a marching band and Borrego is lucky enough to have five of the best in the area coming out to support the town and entertain the residents. March, cheer and sing along as they are bound to give an amazing performance.

The Clairemont High Marching Band is made up of students from 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. We practice at school 5 days a week, perform at home football games, and will be ambassadors to the community for Clairemont High at local parades such as the Borrego Days Desert Festival. We are under the direction of Don Kuhli, Ashley Guymon Drum Major, Taylor Covington Assistant Drum Major, and Elizabeth Cisneros Co-Drum Major.

The La Jolla High School Marching Vikings are under the direction of Mr. Michael Fiedler. The band is lead by senior drum majors Miguel Ochoa Gillette and Roan Wadsworth and Junior drum major Nora Becker. This is the Marching Vikings' first appearance at the Borrego Days parade and they're very excited to be a part of the event. Listen for some old popular favorites from the 50s, 60s, and 70s and sing along!

Christian Unified Schools is celebrating 50 years in El Cajon! The Patriot Band has been competing for 41 years and is excited to participate in the Borrego Springs 50th anniversary Parade. This year the band will compete in Mira Mesa, Chula Vista, Fallbrook, and the Mother Goose Parade with drum major Brandon Norris and Color guard captains Carolyn Deal and Hannah Mason.

The Brawley Union High School Marching Wildcats are under the direction of Amy Jo Dailey and drum majors Marlene Ramirez and Julio Dominguez. The Marching Wildcats love entertaining the people of Borrego Springs and hope you enjoy our selections of tunes. We want you moving and grooving to the Wildcat beat!

The Southwest High School Raider Brigade is directed by Del Bangle and assistant Isaac Tellez. Their Drum Major is John Wright. The Raider Brigade is excited to participate in the Borrego Springs 50th anniversary Parade. GOOOOO RAIDERS!
